I'm Jude — Lead Data Scientist & AI Engineer at the Asian Development Bank, where I work at the intersection of machine learning, policy, and real-world impact across Asia and the Pacific. My focus is on AI that aligns with human and institutional values.
My path here wasn't straight: CS grad, hardware engineer, mobile developer, startup founder, university lecturer, data engineer, researcher. I've worn a lot of hats — including leading national-scale government AI and data projects — and each one taught me something different about how to make intelligent systems actually useful to people.
I've been speaking at conferences, meetups, and universities for over a decade — on everything from AI fundamentals to AI ethics and career advice. My audiences across Asia and the Pacific have ranged from university students and professors to government officials and C-level executives. I care a lot about making AI legible to people who aren't already insiders.
